Are we in a virtual world?

In this show a description of the concept of our universe as a program or simulation was examined. Some information on the Isaac Asimov conference held at the American Museum of Natural History was also presented. How the idea emerged in science fiction literature also was talked about and the implications of black hole physics and the work of Stephen Hawking as well. Overall our universe seems to contain error correction codes in superstring theory but it was also said that any stable universe might have to contain this sort of math to render it stable. Questions in the second half asked if it is possible to "crash" the universe like a video game and if there are possible "cheat codes".
